Delicious panaderia! They had Pan de Muerto during the season of día de los muertos and it was delicious. There was a variety of pans to choose from like vestido de novia which is my new favorite but everything I picked up that day was great! Clean space and friendly workers, also accepts both cash and card.

Best breads in Costa Mesa! Fresh every morning! If I'm ever near by, I make a point to stop in and grab a few favorites. The cookies are a perfect bite (not too chewy or soft), the breads are soft and not overly baked. I don't know all the different kinds but I always get the conchas, cookies, empanadas, and bread rolls. I could see easily over 20 kinds of baked goods. Definitely a must try!

Bought cookies for baptism lunch. They all were wonderful. Best Mexican cookies ever. South a great variety. This is now my new go to Mexican bakery. Great service and packaging.

I've been coming here for years and they have the best and freshest pan dulce in all of Costa Mesa

What a great panaderia! The pan is lighter and airier than most I've tried. At first I thought it may be dry due to how light they felt, but to my surprise some were airy with a slight pleasant crisp on the outside. Different than most panaderia that I've tried, but in a good way! Selection, friendliness, and parking were all pluses!

La Espiga bakery is the place where I get delicious bolillos and teleras every week for the past 6 years. Their employees are fast, courteous and friendly. The pastries and cakes look so delicious.

We were two minutes early for our bus but unfortunately the bus was three minutes early and left without us. We were stuck waiting another 20 minutes and fortunately randomly walked in this very busy bakery That's a good sign when there's constant customers! We bought a slice of tres leche cake, a jalapeño with cheese roll, and an empanada with pineapple.... about $9 Very successful bus trip to three thrift stores.

Wow! After being turned down by every grocery store bakery for a Tres Leches cake with a photo.... La Espiga came through BIG! They created a beautiful cake for my grandson's birthday! Perfect and delicious! We will definitely order all of our cakes from here from now on.

The best pan dulce around! Fresh, fast service and worth every penny down to the last bite. I did order the tres leches cake and was a little dry when it should be moist but still tasty.
